Network Water Booster Set

Site ChallengePolyPump received a request from one of our water authority clients to attend site to review a failing pump which formed part of a network boosting system. The local area in which the pump system fed was experiencing low water pressure during peak times so a solution was required in a timely manner. On the back of the site survey PolyPump was awarded the project to remove failing pump, install and commission the new pump. Working in partnership with Caprari UK we were about to carry out a risk assessment for the works be ensuring they were completed safely within the required tight time frame.

Site Solution

Identifying the faulty pump and looking at modern day more efficient option Polypump were able to source within the client’s tight timeframe and works began. Pump removed & replaced was the Caprari HVT (Vertical multistage centrifugal pumps) which are typically used in large scale water boosting due to their robust design.

On the back of this successful replacement project, it has prompted other works to be awarded.
