Site ChallengePolyPump was approached by a contractor for a project that involved undertaking the fit-out of a commercial Kitchen on a converted railway arch at London Bridge. Work also needed to be completed within the tight time frame of 3 weeks. As part of the overall fitout, the client had a requirement to install two commercial-grade packaged pumping stations to serve the various drainage requirements within the Kitchen Area. Due to the location of existing SVPs and Manholes, it is not currently feasible to achieve gravity drainage without utilising a pumping system.Products(s) pumped:Food scraps PPE Cooking Oil

Site Solution

Offering two above-ground Jung Pumpen systems, we were about to meet both clients demands in terms of timescale and budget. The pumps used were Jung US73HE, which are capable of handling solids up to 30 mm particle size without stones and a temperature of up to 90°C. In addition to sizing and supplying the pump systems, we also arranged the commissioning once the pump systems were installed by an onsite plumbing and electrical contractor.
