Variable speed drives (VSDs), also called variable frequency drives (VFDs), are the brains of rotating equipment with the ultimate goal to save energy.By matching the performance whether you require a constant pressure or constant flow it adjusts the frequency by ramping the pump up and down ensuring the pump only delivers what’s required/ programmed.
